2011 Rockness – what a great success!

Graham, Christina and Lesley were the site management team for the festival and were the first people onto the site at the end of May. The build period was 2 weeks and through strong winds and heavy rain we marked out the full site from main stage and big top location to the Boutqiue camping and entrances.

There were some great acts as you would expect from the festival that won Best Line up 2010 at the festival awards and we were not disappointed. Kasabian blew everyone away on Friday night, The Chemical Brothers had a fantastic light show on the Saturday and Paulo Nutini, with his first headline slot, closed the festival to a massive fireworks display. The supporting acts and other festival elements including the infamous Afterburner, the Sub Club Stage and the very tasty Highland food village all added to what was a great weekend.

There was a great vibe from start to finish with a cool team, many laughs and a very successful event. Hopefully GMC will be involved again in 2012.
