Honeyfest

After months of planning including a postponement, a council licensing hearing and many many meetings with locals Honeyfest finally went ahead on the 16th April in brilliant sunshine.

Everything came together, the line up was fantastic (including damien Rice, Laura Marling, and the Magic Numbers), the weather could not have been better, the event sold out and the planning came together perfectly.

‘After a long build up period it was great to finally get on site and put this event together. The whole team played an important part in making it a success and the dedication of the Barge Inn Community Project and Sandra Bhatia to putting this event on was resounding. A big must also go to the artists, traders and crowd who together made this little festival one of the best I have experienced.’ – Graham MacVoy
