The Bristol Do

GMC won the 2 year production and safety management contract for The Bristol Do, a Bristol City Council event which took place at the end of september.

The Bristol do is a Circus and Street Theatre festival in Portland Square in the heart of Bristol.

Bristol’s free family festival of outdoor performance provides playfulness, oddity and spectacle for Bristolians and visitors alike.

Performances this year include Motionhouse’s new show ‘Cascade’ – an engaging and humorous dance spectacle that looks at our lives in relation to water, Circolombia’s young performers with their awe-inspiring circus skills and volcanic energy, Kuljit Bhamra’s new piece ’Chutney’ with vibrant song and dance story teling inspired by musicians of the Indo-Caribbean, a new comedy trio of wailing alley cats by Bristol company Stickleback Plasticus, outstanding aerial circus shows, roaming gorillas, talking wolves and bouncing Kangaroos!
